Did you know that we are in a war against peace? I see it everywhere. The enemy troops of fear and dread are marching on the warriors of peace and gratitude.
In this international state of emergency we find ourselves in with the coronavirus people are falling prey to those enemy troops. There’s lots of ammunition to support their cause!
Today I want to share something with you that will give you victory in that battle. It’s been around for centuries but is now resurfacing in new forms for current times. It’s called Passing the Peace.

Like I said in the video, I think this practice of Passing the Peace is like a ‘stop-drop-and-roll’ tactic to stop the fires of fear and dread at their inception.
I believe it is human to feel fear and anxiety. But the truth is we don’t have to let it take control of us. Then we lose the war against peace.
The 3 steps of 1.) expressing gratitude, 2) opening our hearts to experience peace, to tune into God’s presence, then 3) to share our experience, are all do-able. With practice they can become the normal way that respond when tempted to fear and anxiety.
